Chris Lindsay

Hello, I'm Chris and I'm the Compliance Manager across Lince Salisbury and Avenue Trust.

I joined the group in July 2019 and took on the Compliance Officer role in 2020. My job is to keep both firms on the right side of a regulatory environment that gets more demanding every year, without turning every question into a three-week exercise. A pragmatic answer that people actually follow beats a perfect one that sits in a drawer.

I am a professional Member of the International Compliance Association and I am qualified in Governance, Risk and Compliance, Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention.

Outside the office I spend my time with my family and our animals. I play hockey and I coach it too, which is a useful reminder that explaining something well matters more than knowing it.
